GAFI CEO and a business delegation visit Hungary
An Egyptian delegation arrived in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, including Counselor Mohamed Abdel Wahab, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones "GAFI" and a large group of Egyptian businessmen and investors in various sectors. The visit aimed at activating investment cooperation between the two countries.
Counselor Mohamed Abdel Wahab is supposed to hold governmental meetings with the Hungarian side, including Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency "HEPA", in addition to meetings with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry "HCCI", members of the Egyptian-Hungarian Business Council, and major Hungarian companies.
During the meetings, investment developments in Egypt and the national projects implemented by the Egyptian government will be reviewed to create more favorable investment environment to receive new investments, and to raise the level of economic relations in conformity with the good relations between the two countries.
Counselor Mohamed Abdel Wahab will also inaugurate the Egyptian-Hungarian Business Forum events, in which major companies, businessmen from both sides and representatives of the investment community in Hungary will participate. During the Forum, joint meetings will be organized among businessmen to discuss the implementation of joint investments, and to benefit from the Hungarian expertise in the fields of engineering industries, health care, information technology, agriculture and water treatment.
