Dr. Mohamed Awad:

In implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT Minister), regarding the development of the investor services system and the enhancement of the efficiency of centres affiliated with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), in a manner that contributes to simplifying procedures, accelerating services, and improving performance quality, Dr. Mohamed Awad, GAFI CEO, conducted an inspection visit to the Investor Services centers (ISC) in 10th of Ramadan City. The visit marks the third stop in his field tour aimed at following up on workflow across GAFI’s affiliated centres.
During the tour, GAFI CEO inspected the various departments within the centre and reviewed the mechanisms for receiving investors and finalizing their transactions. He also examined performance indicators and the quality of services provided, within the framework of GAFI’s efforts to improve the work environment and enhance operational efficiency across Investor Services centers (ISC).
Dr. Mohamed Awad also held direct discussions with a number of investors and clients at the centre to ensure the regularity of workflow and identify the main challenges and observations related to the services provided, in support of ongoing development plans and efforts to further improve the investor experience.
GAFI CEO affirmed that Investor Services centers (ISC) represent a key pillar in the state’s efforts to improve the investment climate, noting that GAFI is working to further develop the service delivery system through expanding digital transformation applications and enhancing operational efficiency, thereby accelerating transaction processing and facilitating procedures for investors.
Dr. Mohamed Awad also inspected one of the proposed buildings in 10th of Ramadan City as part of a preliminary assessment for the potential future relocation of the Investor Services centers (ISC), within the framework of GAFI ‘s plan to upgrade its premises and improve the service environment in line with the expansion of investment activities and investors’ evolving needs.
The visit comes as part of a series of intensive field tours conducted by GAFI CEO to follow up on workflow across GAFI’s affiliated centers and ensure the provision of efficient and swift services that support the state’s efforts to attract more investments and enhance the competitiveness of Egypt’s investment climate.
