The museum will display for the first time the
complete inventory of the tomb of the Golden
Pharaoh Tutankhamun in addition to forty
five thousand artefacts rangeing from prehis-
tory to the Greek & Roman Periods in Egypt
including thirty thousand artefacts that have
never been on display before.

The GEM will incorporate a top-notch state of
the art technology and virtual reality to facili-
tate interpretation.

It will also fulfil a role as an international com-
munication center between museums.
