EXHIBITS GALLERIES
The exhibitions and galleries at the NMEC are designed to walk visitors
through Egyptian civilization chronologically.
Starting from the prehistoric era, through the Coptic and Islamic
periods, ahead to the present, the NMEC will utilize multidisciplinary
approaches to represent the evolution of the Egyptian culture, over
displaying 50.000 unique artifacts.
Alongside the core gallery, there are another eight thematic galleries:
Royal Mummies Gallery Writing Gallery
Nile Gallery State and Society Gallery
Cairo Capital Museum Material Culture Gallery
Dawn of Civilization Gallery Beliefs and Thinking Gallery
It is worth mentioning that the temporary exhibition hall is a dynamic
space used to highlight new themes periodically through various artifacts
and unique arts.
