In line with the directives of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT Minister), to streamline procedures and improve the investor experience, Dr. Mohamed Awad, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), conducted an inspection tour of the Investor Service Center (ISC), 6th of October branch, in the presence of Mr. Yasser Abbas, GAFI Deputy CEO. The visit aimed to follow up on the measures agreed upon during the previous visit, assess workflow, and address the challenges facing investors.
Dr. Awad inspected the new hall at the ISC, which has been equipped with an air-conditioned outdoor waiting area to help reduce crowding and congestion inside the branch, provide investors with a more comfortable environment, and enhance the quality of services provided to them.
He also followed up on the implementation of observations identified during the previous visit, as well as workflow in the Incorporation Services Hall. He stressed the need to provide investors with all necessary support, streamline procedures, and expedite the completion of their applications.
GAFI CEO directed GAFI staff to facilitate procedures for investors and respond promptly to their needs, while providing the necessary support to assist them in submitting complaints and requests through the “Investor Care Platform” and ensuring their prompt and effective handling and resolution.
Dr. Awad affirmed GAFI’s commitment to further developing and enhancing the efficiency of ISCs and improving the quality of services provided, thereby contributing to a better investor experience, streamlining procedures, responding promptly to investors’ needs, and addressing any challenges they may face.
