Mr. Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, met with Ambassador Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Cairo, to discuss investment plans and Saudi investment expansions in Egypt.
The two sides discussed the Saudi investment plan in Egypt during the coming period. They also discussed organizing promotional tours for investment opportunities in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Hossam Heiba reviewed the executive position of the Saudi companies operating in Egypt, and the investment agreements that were activated between the two sides during the last period, stressing the government's full support for Saudi investments, which are distributed among all Egyptian economic sectors.
Moreover, ambassador Osama stressed the depth of the strong historical relations between the Kingdom and Egypt, and the keenness of the Saudi side to develop areas of joint cooperation and strengthen strategic cooperation frameworks between the two brotherly countries, stressing the need for the Egyptian-Saudi partnership to go beyond the scope of the two countries to set up joint projects in the African continent and the Arab region.
