GAFI Training Academy has been awarded the ISO 21001 certification for excellence in training quality. The certificate was presented by the Chairman of Board of Trustees of the National Training and Education Council (NTEC) Dr. Safwat El-Nahas to GAFI CEO Mr. Hossam Heiba.
The ISO 21001 certification is granted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to institutions that deliver educational and training services. It recognizes organizations that meet learners' and trainees' expectations, contribute to sustainable development, and demonstrate efficiency in planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of training frameworks.
As the globally recognized organization for institutional quality standards, ISO certification ensures that GAFI's training programs and the certificates it issues are internationally accredited. Thus, strengthens GAFI's efforts to enhance the investment climate both locally and regionally.
Following the certificate handover, GAFI and NTEC concluded a cooperation protocol aimed at building the capacity of GAFI staff and its stakeholders—including investors and their representatives—to support the ongoing improvement of the investment environment.
Mr. Hossam Heiba emphasized the value of human capital, describing it as a nation's most important asset. He stated that GAFI views every investment opportunity as a chance to train individuals on how to capitalize on and manage investments sustainably. He proposed the cooperation of NTEC with GAFI in training investors to achieve both national and global environmental goals and reduce the carbon footprint of their enterprises, stressing the significance of this agenda for Egypt's economy and environment alike.
Dr. Safwat El-Nahas noted that the ISO 21001 certification will grant GAFI's Training Academy international credibility. He described training as the “elixir of life" for employees and a key enabler for effective public service delivery, which achieves the public interest. He confirmed the continued partnership and cooperation between GAFI and NTEC, extending to all GAFI stakeholders involved in Egypt's investment environment.
