Dr. Mohamed Awad:

Developing the quality management system is a key tool for improving the investor experience and strengthening the competitiveness of the business environment.

In line with the directives of Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT Minister), to all MIFT affiliated entities to modernize operational frameworks and enhance institutional performance, and as part of the State's efforts to improve the investment climate and increase the efficiency of government services provided to investors, Dr. Mohamed Awad held an extensive meeting with the leadership and staff of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Central Department of Total Quality Management and Crises, in the presence of Dr. Dhalia El-Hawary, GAFI Deputy CEO, to discuss the work strategy for the upcoming phase and plans to further develop GAFI's quality management system.

The meeting addressed the certifications targeted for acquisition during the coming period, in line with GAFI's strategy for institutional development and digital transformation, particularly certifications related to information security and digital transformation. These efforts aim to enhance institutional performance efficiency and improve the quality of services provided to investors.

Dr. Mohamed Awad emphasized the important role played by the Central Department of Total Quality and Crises in monitoring investors' complaints and suggestions and measuring customer satisfaction rates, considering this one of the key pillars for improving service standards and developing the business environment.

GAFI CEO also directed the development and simplification of survey mechanisms and investor services to ensure ease of use and the achievement of accurate and clear results in measuring customer satisfaction, thereby supporting the continuous improvement of services in line with investors' needs and expectations.

Dr. Awad affirmed that GAFI continues to upgrade and develop its institutional quality systems in accordance with international best practices, noting that digital transformation and service efficiency enhancement represent central pillars of GAFI's strategy to improve the investor experience.

He further noted that GAFI was among the first government entities to obtain ISO certification in 2009, reflecting the ongoing commitment to implementing institutional quality standards and developing administrative and service delivery systems.
